Create a custom connector to Outtake Flash using the remote Streamable HTTP MCP server at https://armor.outtake.ai/mcp. Use OAuth and guide me through sign-in and approving access. Once authorized, list its tools and use scan_url with {"url":"https://outtake.ai","context":"Verify my Flash connection"}. Only confirm that Flash is connected after the check returns a verdict. Then check links before opening them.

Follow Muse’s connector and sign-in prompts, approve access, then let it run the Flash check. A returned verdict confirms the connection works.

Meta doesn't review custom connectors.

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT on the web, go to Plugins and select +, then Add custom MCP server. Name it Outtake Flash, paste this URL, and choose OAuth. Accept the warning, then select Create.

Find Outtake Flash in your personal plugins and select Install. Complete sign-in when asked. Start a new chat, type @ and pick Outtake Flash.

You can open Plugins in your phone’s browser. If Add custom MCP server isn’t available there, try the web page on a computer. Once installed, use the plugin on mobile with the same account.

On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may need to allow custom MCP servers first.

Setup prompt for another agent

Paste this prompt into an agent that can configure MCP, then complete sign-in when asked.

Connect me to Outtake Flash so you can check links before opening them. Read https://flash.outtake.ai/skill.md, then configure the remote Streamable HTTP MCP server at https://armor.outtake.ai/mcp. Use OAuth with scan:url; register your OAuth client automatically if needed. Open the sign-in and consent flow for me to complete. Once authorized, list the tools and use scan_url with {"url":"https://outtake.ai","context":"Verify my Flash connection"}. Confirm the result, then check links before opening, following, or recommending them. Never open a link marked unsafe or suspicious. If sign-in is required, give me the authorization link; do not claim the connection is complete before the test succeeds. If client setup needs my help, show me https://flash.outtake.ai/connect.

Call the API from your code

For agents and programs you build. Key scans are your account’s scans and share its limits.

Create a key on your account page, put it in FLASH_API_KEY, then run this.

Create a key

curl

curl https://armor.outtake.ai/v1/scan \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $FLASH_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"url": "https://example.com/", "context": null}'

The response has the verdict, confidence, evidence and site_state. A 401 means the key is missing, mistyped or revoked.

Try your first check

After signing in, ask your agent to check a link.

Test prompt

Use scan_url to check https://outtake.ai before you open it.

A returned Flash verdict confirms the connection works. If the tool isn’t available yet, finish sign-in and enable Flash in your chat.

Make future checks automatic
